The Wellsville JV boys’ basketball team defeated Letchworth to capture the 8th annual Attica Holiday Classic Tournament title.
The JV Lions were on fire to start the tournament with a 70-17 win over Alexander. There were four players in double-digits led by Trenton Green with 14 points and 9 rebounds and AJ Cowborn with 13 points and seven assists.
In the championship game, Wellsville once again held their opponent under 20 points with a 42-13 win over Letchworth.
The tournament MVP for Wellsville was Trenton Green while Aiden “AJ” Cowburn, and Derek Coleman were all-tournament selections.
