Dan and Butch, the owners of Fassett Lane, have been serving the Wellsville area market for decades. They just celebrated their five year anniversary of taking ownership of “Fassett,” and have made a big point to thank their loyal customers and the community.

Starting in 2023, Fassett Lane has been rewarding customers with a monthly $100 sweepstakes drawing that has surprised dozens with a big win. Any customer in the store can enter the drawing and no purchase is necessary. In February, Angelia Reitz from Baldwins Forest Products was the lucky winner. Baldwin’s and Fassett Lane aren’t just in the same industry, they are fixtures in the Bolivar Road neighborhood in Wellsville. “It is great to have someone like Angelia win this drawing because we work and live in the famous ‘west side’ of town!  She and the crew at Baldwin’s aren’t just customers, they are neighbors too.”

The March customer appreciation winner was also recently selected, putting an extra $100 into Dean Lamphier’s pocket. As you can see below, it literally pays to support Fassett Lane!!!

Dan and Butch have had such a great time suprising and thanking customers that in 2024 they decided to launch a second monthly giveaway. This “Shop Local” drawing gives everyone one more reason to shop at Fassett and celebrates other locally owned small businesses. Each month a lucky customer can win a $50 gift certificate to a popular local business. While giving customers a boost is great, Butch explains that the “Shop Local” prize giveaway is about making the community stronger:

“The Wellsville area has so many great small businesses and we both want to support them as much as possible. This monthly drawing emphasizes how important it is to keep dollars local and also how interconnected we are as a business community.”

Recent winners are Harland Seger of Wellsville, who won a $50.00 gift certificate to the Texas Hot of Wellsville. Seger will be grabbing what he needs at Fassett Lane and then heading to the “TH” for a famous lunch, exactly what Dan and Butch want to see. Mark Mattison found himself pretty lucky for stopping into Fassett and tossing his name into the contest. Mark got a big thank you from the team at Fassett and walked out the door with $50 in Napoli Pizza dollars!

Shopping at Fassett Lane isn’t just about hardware or lumber or that new kitchen sink, it is about the local community. In just a couple months, these little “thank yous” from Dan and Butch have brought great local businesses like Baldwin’s Forest Products, Napoli Pizza, the Texas Hot, and Fassett Lane Lumber together.

You can be the next winner, just stop into Fassett Lane the next time you are on the “west side.” You can enter both the Customer Appreciation and the Shop Local drawings in the story and you don’t have to make a purchase to enter. Tell your freinds and family about the opportunity and remind them to support all local small businesses!
