From Kevin LaForge for Legislator,

My wife Ginny and I visited the Town of Ward Board meeting last evening at the invitation of Town Supervisor Jim Lucey. In the recent realignment of the 5 Allegany County Legislative Districts, the Town of Ward was moved from District 2 to District 4 ( Andover and Wellsville). Accordingly, I felt this was an appropriate venue to publicly announce my Republican candidacy for Allegany County Legislator; District 4.

I will publish a biography and position statement in the coming days  Petition circulation begins February 25.”

Town of Ward Supervisor Lucey and the board issued a brief statement after the visit by the LaForge’s:

“The Ward town board was pleased to host Kevin LaForge as he announced his candidacy for county legislator in district 4 . Kevin took questions from the board and pledged to be attentive to the town’s needs and concerns if elected.”
