The entire Western New York community has grieved for Gabby Kranock, a teenager who was nearly killed after a drunk driver slammed into a group of friends who were just hanging out in Portville. Her friend, Kayden Joseph Belleisle, was killed in the incident.

According to Hope Rises, a non profit who has helped Gabby and family with medical expenses and general support reported this today:

“With permission, we are heartbroken to share that Gabby gained her 🪽 wings 💔

Please join us in sending so much love and light to her parents who loved and will continue to love her immensely 🙏🏽

Lisa Ritter-Kranock said on Facebook, “So since we are hearing from people that we haven’t told yet I’m going to update everyone … GABBY IS FOREVER 19 our baby received her wings”

Despite being a victim of vehicular manslaughter, Gabby always remained positive and wore a smile for the many supporters, including several Buffalo Bills, who visited her.

In October of 2023, Buffalo Bills’ royalty Darryl Talley, a fan favorite and superstar during the Super Bowl years, partnered with the Palmer Opera House for a community benefit for Gabby and her family.
