New ownership brings a fresh menu to Cuba Lake
By Andrew Harris
Many of us have great Moonwinks memories and a new era is beginning at the fabeled Cuba destinaton restaurant and lounge. According to a social media post, the restuarant officially changed hands on August 8, and the new owners have been running some impressive daily specials for much of August.

A new menu was launched today with plenty of time this summer to draw in the “lake life” seasonal crowd. The local Allegany county customers will be happy to see old standards like the “Moonwinks Baked French Onion Soup,” and a very ‘surf-n-turf’ themed menu. Main courses include lobster, scallop, shrimp, and “Housemade Crab Cakes.”
The new menu also features great lunch specials, extensive appetizers, and a robust kids menu.
Moonwinks new ownership is excited about the future and ready to serve solo food adventurists and large group parties. As the new era of this Allegany County fixture unfolds, look to social media for updates.
