Multiple felony arrests by local and state police

Wellsville Village Police arrest burglar, vagrant

NY State Police charge women with nine weapons related crimes

All those accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty

State Troopers made a felony arrest of a Allentown man for possession of a forged instrument in the first degree. Arthur J. Miller, age 42 was arrested in Amity NY and released to appear for a future court date.

A Wellsville man faces serious charges after state police arrested him after a domestic incident. Dukayne T. Buchholz, 29 of Wellsville was arrested on a felony aggravated family offense and two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief after destroying personal property. He was held awating further court action.

Robert Close, 41 of Cuba NY was arrested for felony sexual conduct against a child under 13 years of age. Close remains in custody after the arrest.

A Port Allegany woman faces serious charges in the Town of Bolivar after state police lodged nine serious charges, three of which are felonies. Tamara Howard, 26, was released on a bail bond after being charged with two counts of possessing of weapon, three counts of felony possession of an assault rifle, and four counts of possesion of ammunition feeding devices.

Tuesday June 20, 2023

Wellsville Police arrested John H. Finch Jr, age 32 of Wellsville, charging him with Burglary 2nd (Class C Felony) and Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor). The charges stem from an incident that took place on Clark Street on June 16th. Finch was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Finch was returned to the Allegany County Jail and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 pm.

Finch was also arrested last week by Wellsville police on Friday June 16,

Wellsville Police arrested John H. Finch Jr, age 32 of Wellsville, charging him with Trespass. Finch was additionally charged with a Violation of Probation Warrant. Finch was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thomson. Finch was committed to the Allegany County Jail and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 20th at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday June 20, 2023

Wellsville Police arrested Christopher J. Foster, age 36 of Andover, charging him with Appearance in public under the influence of narcotics or a drug other than alcohol (Violation). The charge stems after multiple complaints (3) of a male subject that was wandering about town under the influence of drugs. Foster was issued an appearance ticket on South Main Street and is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 pm.
