ALCO CEO Sets the Record Straight

By Andrew Harris

This morning a reader contacted us about a some banking concerns after recieving a text message from ALCO Federal Credit Union. We immediately contacted ALCO to find out more information and the bank President/CEO immediately provided this information:

My name is Mike Miller. I’m the CEO at Alco Federal Credit Union. This morning our fraud department made us aware of a company that was having issues called Skyblock Coins. Our fraud department sent out mass text messages to our members to see if it was valid or not. If the text messages aren’t answered a follow-up phone call is placed to check. Everything from the Skyblock Coins has been blocked and no accounts have been compromised. The fraud program is working exactly as it is intended. I wanted to personally reach out because we have been getting lots of messages and people are concerned.

If you have any concerns with messages or phone calls you may have recieved as part of this fraud-prevention action by ALCO, call (585) 593-4959.
