Growing Succulents Indoors and Outdoors Workshop

Growing succulent plants can be rewarding, a touch of green in your house, office, or garden, but it’s not fun when you get them and they’re not doing well. So, how to make them grow healthy? To grow them, successfully conditions must be created to produce the most satisfying results. One of these conditions is strong light, and other simple requirements, would you like to learn about it and start growing stronger and healthy plants? Join to our Succulents workshop!

When? Saturday, February 25th, 2023

Hour: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Location: Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany County. 5435 Co Rd 48, Belmont, NY 14813

Fee: FREE.

Growing Your Medicinal Garden Workshop

Did you know that there are more than 50.000 medicinal plants around the world? Each plant has different biochemical properties, and some of them can provide essential compounds for your body, mind, and your well-being, but how to know which ones to choose and how to make them grow in your area?

Join to our Growing Your Medicinal Garden Workshop on March 8th, 2023. In this workshop you will learn:

  • What medicinal plants are in NYS for you to use.
  • How to grow medicinal plants at home?
  • How to use medicinal plants in your daily life.
  • More tips and recommendations, and… fun activities!

Date: March 8, 2023. Hour: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

The program will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany County located on 5435 County Road 48, Belmont NY 14813. 

There is a cost for this program and pre-registration is required. 

Registration deadline: Friday, March 3, 2023.
