Llegar a una nueva área puede llegar a ser todo un reto a la hora de empezar tu propio huerto, incluso si ya tienes experiencia en horticultura, jardinería o agricultura en general. Diferentes factores ambientales, microclimas, agua, suelo, etc., pueden afectar el rendimiento de tus plantas, y no hay nada más triste para un amante de la horticultura, que emplear tiempo y dinero en su huerto y al final no tener frutos, o una baja producción.
