The home of Al and Remy Hennard was destroyed by a fire on Monday night.

The Cuba Volunteer Fire Department and ambulance has had a busy week with calls, and Monday night they had a two-story home on fire to battle.
Fire officials said the blaze was called in at 6:18 p.m. on West Shore Road and the first arriving units saw smoke showing from the second story of the home.
The residents were able to get out of the home without injury.
It was the home of Al and Remy Hennard. A GoFundMe page was set up HERE.
Cuba was assisted by fire departartments from Friendship, New Hudson, Clarksville, Rushford, Weston Mills and Lyndon as well as Cuba Ambulance and Cuba Police Department.
The Hinsdale Fire Department was on standby crew and Ungermann Excavating was also assisting.
There was no further information on the status of the house or the cause.
