Mayrene E. Hull, 80, of 7451 McNamara Hill Rd., passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, following a lengthy illness. Born October 23, 1942 in Cloquet, MN, she was the daughter of Toivo and Gertrude

Ylikopsa Typpo. Maryene grew up in Cloquet and was a graduate of Cloquet High School, class of 1960. On 4-28-62 in Cloquet, MN, she married Richard L. Hull Jr. Shortly after their marriage the couple returned to Caneadea.

Over the years, Mayrene had been a clerk at Magnano’s Drug store in Belfast, helped run the Belfast Mobil gas Station, and retired from Cooper Industries in Olean.

She was part of her High School Marching Band in MN., loved cross-word puzzles, crocheting, jig-saw puzzles and hockey. Above all she loved her cat, Pinker. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosery Society at St. Patrick’s church in Belfast.

Predeceased by: A Grandson, Lee Hull

There will be no Visitations or funeral at this time. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast.
