Districts close in anticipation of major storm this holiday weekend

Mother nature is planning on making Santa’s work this year in Western NY very challenging. Local schools are reacting to the weather forecast by closing school for Friday. Here is the list which we will update as new districts make the call. Contact us with any announcements please.
Whitesville Central Schools will be CLOSED this Friday
Fillmore Central School will be CLOSED this Friday
Genesee Valley Schools will be CLOSED this Friday
Immaculate Conception School in Wellsville will be CLOSED this Friday
Wellsville Central Schools will be CLOSED this Friday, read the statement from Superintendent David Foster:
Wellsville Staff and Families,
We will be canceling school on Friday, December 23rd. This was scheduled as a half day, but the weather looks particularly challenging at dismissal. All afterschool activities will be canceled on Friday as well. Tomorrow (Thursday) will be a regular school day. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
