In a continuous effort to provide health and wellness services to our rural community, Genesee Valley Central School District and Wegmans Pharmacy of Hornell have partnered to offer an evening flu clinic to area residents challenged with time, access, and available resources.
On Tuesday, November 8th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., the fifth annual community flu vaccination clinic will be held on the GVCS campus at 1 Jaguar Drive in Belmont. The “Vote & Vax” clinic can accommodate patients ages three and above and will offer the high dose (65+) flu shot, preservative free flu shot, and pneumonia shot. The PFIZER bivalent booster will also be readily available. According to the CDC, individuals 12 years and older who have completed their primary series and it has been at least two months since completing primary series or most recent booster dose are eligible.
If attending, please follow the posted clinic signs and park in the back of the school. Flu vaccination pre-registration is available on the GVCS webpage at www.genvalley.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.
