Live-stream planned for December 1 event at the Wellsville Brewing Company

The Wellsville Development Corporation (WDC) is holding their Annual Holiday Auction & Raffle Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Wellsville Brewing Company (6pm). Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online at: https://wlsvdevelopmentcorp.ticketleap.com/2022-holiday-auction

All proceeds from the raffle will be used to further the beautification of Wellsville’s Main Street through flowers and planters, holiday lights, and the Betterment & Beautification Mini Grant Program.

“The Holiday Auction & Raffle is our largest fundraising event of the year,” said Carrie Redman, WDC President. “Again this year, we will be hosting an in-person event and will also be streaming it live to accommodate our supporters who prefer to stay cozy at home. The event will be hosted from the Wellsville Brewing Company (WBC) and streamed via Facebook Live on Thursday, December 1st at 6pm.”

“Here’s how it works,” said Redman. “Donate $20, receive a ticket, and your ticket will be entered into the ‘hat.’ On the night of the event, we will draw the winners of each prize being raffled. Each ticket may only win once. You need not be present at the WBC or on Facebook Live to win. There will also be a few items that we will hold live bidding on at the WBC only; you cannot bid on them virtually.”

Raffle items can be previewed on the WDC’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/wlsvdevelopmentcorp) during the weeks leading up to the event.

Donations for raffle items are still being accepted from individuals and/or businesses. If you have an item or service you would like to donate, please email the WDC at wlsvdevelopmentcorp@gmail.com

The Wellsville Development Corporation is the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community-based division that focuses on revitalization, economic development and beautification planning projects. For more information, please visit facebook.com/wlsvdevelopmentcorp.
