Starlight Theatre Company to present “Sleepy Hollow: The Musical”


Friday October 28 and October 29 in Wellsville

WELLSVILLE, NY: Just in time for Halloween, the Headless Horseman will ride when Starlight Theatre Company performs “Sleepy Hollow: The Musical.” This spooky comedy based on the classic story by Washington Irving will thrill and delight community members of all ages!

Performances will be held at the Grace United Mission Center (former Christian Temple) on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 7:00 PM. The address is 99 Maple Avenue, Wellsville, NY 14895. Admission is $6.00 at the door (no presale) and includes desserts!

Sleepy Hollow: The Musical” tells the tale of superstitious schoolmaster Ichabod Crane and his adventures in Sleepy Hollow, a quiet farming village with its share of ghost stories. Along the way he encounters the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel, the boorish Brom Bones, and a host of other colorful characters, alive and dead. What will happen when Ichabod encounters the frightening and legendary Headless Horseman?

The cast is comprised of local talent from Allegany County including Andover, Angelica, Bolivar, and Wellsville. “We really have put together a spectacular and crowd-pleasing show for the community,” said director Heidi Lawton. She continued, “Our cast and crew have been working hard to make it the best show Starlight Theatre Company has ever had. Be prepared for an immersive, fun night at the theater! We hope to see you there!”

Audiences will love the catchy music, hilarious comedy, and spooky atmosphere of “Sleepy Hollow: The Musical.” Come be entertained this Halloween season! Doors will open at 6:30 PM both nights.
