Multiple felony arrests my local law enforcement

A Cuba man is facing a serious charge following a domestic dispute in the Town of Lyndon. State Police say they arrested 54-year-old Daniel J. Chiarilli. He was charged with assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, a class D felony crime. He was also charged with preventing an emergency call.

A Friendship man is facing numerous counts stemming from a domestic dispute. Amity-based State Police say they arrested 34-year-old Bryan A. Deming. He was charged with felony second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless endangerment, four counts of child endangerment and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was released on his own recognizance.

Troopers arrested William E. Bailey of Westons Mills. He was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property valued at more than $3,000. He was released on his own recognizance.

Pennsylvania State Police

Pennsylvania State Police filed a criminal complaint against Derrick Richard Barker of Westfield, PA. Stemming from an incident in Coudersport, he was charged with felony tampering with a public record /information, statement under penalty and unsworn falsification to authorities. The case dates back to October 25, 2021. Eight months ago, he was charged with the same crimes in connection to an incident involving a daycare in Galeton.

Village of Wellsville Police Department Reports

Wellsville Police arrested Jeremiah D. Edwards, age 30 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, False Inspection Certificate, Unregistered Trailer and Switched Trailer Plate. The charges stem from a traffic stop on South Main Street in the Village. Edwards also had an active Arrest Warrant out of the Wellsville Village Court on charges of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd (Class D Felony), Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd, Affixes Vehicle Identification Number (Class E Felony) and Automobile Stripping 3rd. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by Wellsville Police and assisted by Allegany County Assistant District Attorney Pete Degnan. Edwards was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Edwards was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $25,000.00 cash bail, or $50,000.00 property bond or $100,000.00 partially secured bond. Edwards is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 6th at 4:30 pm.

Monday August 15, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested an 18 year old Coudersport youth, charging him with Burglary 1st (Class B Felony), Attempted Robbery 2nd (Class C Felony), Conspiracy 4th (Class E Felony) and Assault 3rd. The charges stem from an incident that took place on Scott Avenue on August 2nd. The youth as additionally charged with Resisting Arrest while being taken into custody. The youth was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The youth was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 property bond or $40,000.00 partially secured bond. The youth is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 6th at 4:30 pm.
