Up to 200 people involved outside the “Pitbull” concert
Michael T. Baldwin Reports
A large fight prompted an equally large police response at a Pitbull concert at Six Flags Darien Lake. Several police agencies arrived around 8 p.m. at the parking lot area. The scene was eventually brought under control. The police scanner said that between 150 and 200 people were involved. The unexpected chaos raised new safety concerns at the venue. It remains unclear what if any injuries there were, but Mercy Flight did place a helicopter on standby. The State Police blotter shows that Troopers were called in to assist at 8:43 p.m. There is no clear understanding what prompted the brawl. There has, as of yet, been no further information released.
