Allentown Fire Department: What an absolute disgrace
The latest news of vandals striking key historical sites continues. The monument to the first oil producing well in Allegany County, the genesis of the technological and economic boom which still shape our daily live still today, was defaced.
Was it young kids gone wrong or similar to the recent theft of veterans gravesite plaques from the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wellsville ? Needless to say, the people of Alma and Allentown are not happy.
