Elected officials have a dozen resolutions to consider, will honor the Texas Hot in Wellsville
A full schedule today for Allegany County legislators culminates with a full board meeting. Perhaps the biggest news from this meeting will be the formal creation of an EMS Advisory Board. Some “official newspaper” juggling will be required as both of the remaining print only newspapers in Allegany County, The Cuba Patriot and the Alfred Sun, will be taking a week off publication. While those papers are vacationing, the county will designate a paper from Steuben county to be the official newspaper.
Legislators will also declare July 13th, “Texas Hot Day,” and will be commemorating the iconic diner’s 100th anniversary.
