Allegany County Farm Bureau recently held their first annual County Picnic at the Allegany County Fairgrounds where the attendees enjoyed an afternoon of good food and conversation. Benjamin Hollamby, of the Hollamby Agency, who is both a Board member and the local Nationwide representative donated barbecued chicken and roast corn, and participating members contributed a varied selection of side dishes to complement the meal.
The Farm Bureau was pleased to host not only its own local members, but Farm Bureau members from Cattaraugus County and Steuben County as well as our own local County Legislators, Gretchen Hanchett from District 2 and Adam Cyr from District 3.
On June 18, 2020 Allegany County Farm Bureau participated in the Cuba Dairy Days Celebration with a float. The decorations consisted of a miniature barn and some dairy calves.
