Belmont NY Area festival is Friday August 12 & 13

The popular day of community sales, events, and a BBQ competition is planned for August of this year. Here is the schedule for each day:

Friday August 12, 2022

  • Yard Sales All Day
  • 7:00 p.m. – Historical Presentation by Craig Braack
    • “Belmont Then and Now”
    • Upstairs in the Library
  • 5 – 8 p.m. – NYS Police Rollover Demonstration
    • UMC Church Parking Lot
  • 5 – 8 p.m. – Car Show – Park Circle
    • Food vendors available

Saturday, August 13, 2022

  • Yard Sales All Day
  • Pickleball Tournament – Lenny Kalkbrenner, 585-808-9349
    • 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    • WilMac Park
  • 8 a.m. – 1st Annual Belmont Rotary 5K Run/Walk
    • Depart from Allegany County Court House parking lot
    • Registration – $20.00 before July 29th – includes t-shirt

  • 9 a.m. – 2nd Annual Belmont Rotary Club Allegany County Road Rally
    • Depart from Allegany County Court House parking lot
    • $40.00 Registration Fee – includes 1 voucher for chicken BBQ and t-shirt

  • 11:30 a.m. ‘til gone – Belmont Rotary Stearn’s Chicken BBQ
    • UMC Parking Lot
    • $12 per meal
  • Mike’s On the Corner Pizza Wagon

  • 1 – 5 p.m. – Library Open House – come poke around! Snacks available.
  • Noon – 5 p.m. Belmont Fire Company
    • Smokin’ on the River BBQ Competition

    • Judging around 4 p.m.
  • 1 p.m. – Belmont Fire Company Fire Demo at the fire hall
  • 2-4 p.m. – Youth League Skills Challenge – Wilmac Park
  • Dusk – Family Movie at Wilmac Park (bring chairs and blankets)
    • “Minions 2”
    • Popcorn and snacks available
