 Michael E. Faber, 59, of 132 North Union Street, unexpectedly died at home. He was born in Wellsville on January 22, 1963 the son of James R. Sr. and Katherine E. (Gordnier) Faber.

Michael was a 1981 graduate of Andover Central Schools. He worked in the healthcare industry as a Home Health Aide for most of his career. He enjoyed spending time with and interacting with his “folks”. Outside of work he liked to cook, hunting, fishing, watching movies, walks with his dog Buster, and was a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan – sporting head-to-toe gear on game days.

He is survived by: two sons, Adam Faber and Jon Faber, both of Wellsville; a grandson, Braylon Faber of Angelica; his mother, Katherine E. Frantz of Olean; a brother, James R. (Kim) Faber of Honeoye Falls; a sister, Robin K. (Thomas) Bowser of Olean; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by: his father, James; and a grandson, Andre Faber.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 1 – 3 PM at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, 34 West State Street, Wellsville, NY, 14895. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
