Arrest, so far, for the month of May

All those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court

Monday May 2, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 40 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Criminal Mischief 4th. The charges stem from an incident that took place on East Pearl Street in the Village. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 17th at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday May 3, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 21 of Wellsville, charging her with Petit Larceny. The charges stem from an incident that took place on Trapping Brook Road in the Village. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 17th at 4:30 pm.

Friday May 6, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a male age 28 of Wellsville, charging him with Assault 3rd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Maple Avenue on April 9th. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 7th at 4:30 pm.

Monday May 9, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 26 of Whitehall, NY, charging her with Petit Larceny. The charge stems from an incident that took place at Dollar General on West Dyke Street on April 18th. She was also charged with another count of Petit Larceny for an incident that took place at Tractor Supply on April 8th. She, who is currently incarcerated at the Allegany County Jail on other charges, was processed, issued appearance tickets and returned to the Allegany County Jail. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 7th at 4:30 pm.
