The first Annual Woods Walk is scheduled for this Saturday, the 23rd of April, at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 4981 McAndrews Road, Andover, New York, 14806 (at the top of Jericho Hill outside of Alfred). Discover the trees which create the woodland garden at their feet. Wear boots and bring your questions. The 10-acre woodland was never cleared and only lightly logged about 50 years ago. Some trees are more than 100 years old! A dozen wildflowers bloom on the floor of the forest from April to May along with many ferns of the northeast.
There is no charge to attend, looking forward to seeing you there! Please be aware of the ditch when you park as there is no shoulder!
