Access Allegany is now on Google Maps

Ardent Solutions as the mobility managers for Allegany County’s public transportation system, continues to address the mobility needs within our communities. Through our Rider and Non-Rider surveys, we identified that reading the bus schedules can be a challenging task, not only our seasoned riders, but also for anyone not familiar with the public transit system.

From there a collaboration between Ardent Solutions, 511NY (a free telephone and web transit service), and Google Transit (Google Maps) began. Though it took over a year to complete, it was well worth the effort when Access Allegany went live on Google Maps on January 6, 2022. We are excited to offer this tool to both our riders and those considering riding Allegany County’s public transportation system.

Google Maps is an easily accessible tool available to everyone with internet access at: It includes easy-to-understand trip information, pick-up times and locations, drop-off times and locations, bus numbers, service areas, transfers to other buses, an option to explore different days and times of day, calendar reminders, and you can see each stop in between starting points and destinations. Please make sure to click on the bus icon on Google Maps to access this information.

We look forward to spreading the word about this amazing benefit to our public transportation system and encourage our community members to reach out to us for more information regarding the public transit in Allegany County by calling the Access Allegany Call Center at (585) 593-1738, going to the website at:, or liking us on the Access Allegany Facebook page.
