All accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court

Tuesday April 12, 2022

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a female, age 23 of Wellsville, charging her with failure to appear in Court on previous Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Possession of Marijuana 2nd charges. She was located by the City of Salamanca Police Department and turned over to Wellsville Police. Nowak was processed and arraigned before Associate Village Justice Walsh. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested John H. Finch, 31 of Wellsville, charging him with Petit Larceny. The charge stems from an incident that took place at Tractor Supply. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 17th at 4:30 pm.

Wednesday April 13, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested Jeremiah D. Edwards, age 30 of Wellsville charging him with 4 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th by a Convicted Felon. The charges stem from an investigation from an incident that took place on March 24th on Pine Street. Edwards was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Edwards was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 31 of Wellsville, charging him with a Violation of Probation. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.0 property bond. The man is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 17th at 4:30 pm.

Friday April 15, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 45 of Wellsville, charging her with Petit Larceny. The charge stems from an incident that took place at 7-Eleven on South Main Street. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 17th at 4:30 pm.
