How is your internet service? Important survey for all Allegany county residents

The Broadband Assessment Survey is a tool being utilized by the Department of Public Service to study the reliability and affordability of highspeed broadband infrastructure through New York State.  The New York State Department of Public Service is mapping broadband infrastructure across the state, and they need to hear from our community.

The survey takes 5-7 minutes to complete and will assist the agency is more accurately reporting on where broadband infrastructure exists and where it does not. Visit www.empirestatebroadband.com by March 18 to take the survey digitally or call the toll-free broadband assessment line at 1-855-NYBBMAP (1-855-692-2627) to receive a paper copy in the mail.

As of today we have received the survey in a pdf format that you can download and print if you haven’t been able to get one from the above number.  You will have to mail it to them by March 18, 2022: ECC Technologies, NYS Broadband Project, 2136 Five Mile Line Road, Penfield, NY 14526.
