Funds from the Lions Club have benefit many since October 2021

The Wellsville Lions Club is dedicated to serve the greater Wellsville Community in keeping with Our Motto: “We Serve.”  One of the ways we do this is through donations in response to requests.  If anybody is in need of our services or financial help, please contact any Lions Club member or visit us on Facebook.

The following is a list of funds made available to the community by the Wellsville Lions Club in the months of October 2021 through February 2022.

October:

$1,520 payment to Mama’s Smokin BBQ for the World Service Day dinner from the World  Service Day account.

December:

$200 payment to Giant Food Mart for cookies for nursing home visits from the Nursing Home Visit committee.

January:

$200 donation to Hart Comfort House from the Health & Welfare committee.

$200 donation to the Salvation Army of Wellsville food bank from the Health & Welfare committee.

$200 donation to Hearts for ALS of NY from the Health & Welfare committee.

$200 donation to the American Red Cross from the Health & Welfare committee.

$1,000 payment to Katharine Tronetti from the Scholarship committee. $500 payment to Aidan Hart from the Scholarship committee.

$1,000 payment to Erin Spicer from the Scholarship committee.

February:

$239 payment to DBM Communications for ads for the Fantasy of Lights and Christmas music on Christmas Day.

$300 donation to the New York State & Bermuda Lions Foundation to purchase tickets to name a Robert J. Uplinger award recipient from the raffle account.

$210.85 donation to the Brandel-Murphy Youth Foundation
