For several years, the Allegany County Town Highway Superintendents Association (ACTHSA) has awarded two scholarships to highschool and college students who apply through the Allegany County Area Foundation. The overlying criteria surrounding the ACTHSA scholarship is to assist students pursuing a career in the Heavy Equipment and Environmental Engineering Trades.
Congratulations to our (2) recipients of the ACTHSA Scholarship for 2021:
Carter Guilford – Belfast Central School/Alfred State College
Spencer Cook – Andover Central School/Alfred State College
Each of these recipients will receive a $1500.00 scholarship from the ACTHSA towards the 2021-2022 academic year via the Allegany County Area Foundation.
If you know either or both of these students or their families, please be sure to congratulate them on their awarded scholarship and wish them well this coming academic year.
