Village of Wellsville goes dark after Tuesday afteroon power outage

Village: Issue appears to be a main line inbound from National Grid

At about 430pm on Tuesday July 11, the entire village of Wellsville lost power. Public Works boss Dean Arnold just called to inform that the issue is out of the village, likely a National Grid line coming into the village.

Typically a power outage involving a third party takes a few hours to resolve according to village officials.

Spectrum cable issued the following to customers: Spectrum Service Alert: There is a service outage. Restoral estimated by 08:00 PM.

Crews are out now doing standard checks and will update if anymore information becomes available.
