Grace United Church plans downtown caroling concert for December 19th
Do you love singing Christmas carols with friends? The church that has sponsored “beer and carols” events in the past is planning a COVID-safe option for this year.
Weather permitting, at 4:00 on December 19th, Grace United Church will be sponsoring a caroling event at the Fassett GreenSpace, open to all. The church will provide lyrics, accompaniment and some warming treats and you are asked to bring your voices and good cheer.
Dave Toot, choir director at Grace United says, “In past years we’ve hosted a Beer and Carols event at the Wellsville Brewing company that was very popular. COVID has made that a questionable option so we’re moving this year’s caroling outdoors, at the GreenSpace. We’ll be encouraging participants to follow CDC guidelines for COVID safety, while finding a way to sing in the Christmas Season. Of course you need to leave the beer at home!”
As at our past caroling events, this is open to all – just bring your goodwill and love of community!
