Allegany County Department of Health announces nine different free clinics in Belmont

The Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) is asking County residents to help us slow the spread of COVID-19 by getting vaccinated and encouraging your family, friends, and neighbors to get vaccinated. Children and adults ages 5 and up should get a COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccination is the best way to protect children from COVID-19, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that children and adolescents age 5 and older get a COVID-19 vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective for children. More than 11 million adolescents ages 12-17 have already received the COVID-19 vaccine, and children ages 5-11 are also eligible to get vaccinated. Let’s keep our children healthy and in school. Everyone age 18 or older is eligible to receive a booster shot! Consider getting your booster shot if you have already completed your original series.

To find a vaccine clinic go to www.alleganyco.com, call a local pharmacy, or call your health care provider. The Allegany County Department of Health is offering COVID-19 clinics in December. Please bring your insurance card and photo ID. You must register online for an appointment.
