Village of Wellsville debuts new brand

Share:

Mayor Randy Shayler presented the village board with the final draft of a new look for Wellsville. The image is a hybrid of sorts, replacing the “village seal,” with a graphic that is more of a logo. Village letterhead and digital assets will begin using the new image soon after a unanimous vote of approval by the board.

Village vehicle decals will also be gradually switching over to the new image under the supervision of new Public Works Director Dean Arnold. This was an initiative by the Wellsville Economic Development Board, and the graphic artist, Lauren Gurbacki.

Mayor Shayler stated that Gurbacki did this work pro bono as a service to her hometown and bid farewell to the outgoing village seal”

“We do thank the old seal though, for its long-time service to the community.”
