Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 8, 2021, Deputies arrested Romulo Mendivil, age 33 of Caneadea, for unlawful possession of a weapon while serving a court order. Deputies issued Mendivil an appearance ticket to return to court at a later date for additional court action.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 12, 2021, Deputies arrested Ryan McDonald, age 32 of Bolivar, on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and Promoting prison contraband following an incident at the jail. McDonald was arraigned in the Town of Amity court and released on his own recognizance.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 13, 2021, Deputies arrested Deric Avery-Sadler, age 30 of Wellsville, on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of Allegany County Court. Deputies then transported Avery-Sadler to the Allegany County Jail where he was held pending further court action.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 15, 2021, Deputies arrested Scott D Vaughn, age 36 of Hinsdale on a Family Court Warrant issued out of Allegany County Court, with the assistance of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. Vaughn was then transported to Town of Amity court where he was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in court at a later date for additional court action.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on October 19, 2021, Deputies arrested Justin A. Button, age 34 of Bolivar, on two Family Court Warrants issued out of Allegany County Court. Button was then transported to the Town of Friendship court for arraignment where he was remanded to the Allegany County Jail to be held on two separate bonds of $10,000 cash/$20,000 bond.
