One deceased body was located in the residence. No causes of death or cause for the residential explosion at this time. The body was removed from the scene and sent to the Medical Examiners for identification.
State Police have confirmed a body was found at the scene. Troopers called for a coroner at 5:17 p.m. No causes of death or cause for the explosion yet. While the Wellsville Sun was near the scene, National Fuel and an excavator went to the scene around 6:30 and three other fire trucks as well arrived.
The body was removed from the scene for an autopsy at the Monroe County Medical Examiners Office.
