From The Allegany County Health Department, 9/17/21

Due to the increase of COVID-19 positive cases Allegany County will transition back to daily dashboard updates. This week will be the last weekly report (to be reported Monday, September 20, 2021). Next week, Tuesday, will begin the daily updates. We will continue to do daily updates Monday through Friday. Each Monday’s news release will include the weekend numbers and a recap from the previous week. This data will include the total number of new COVID-19 cases, break-through cases who are fully vaccinated, total number of individuals under isolation and quarantine, and more.

You can find this information by going to www.alleganyco.com. On the right side of the main page, in the blue Quick Links Box, click on COVID-19 Data Dashboard.

The positive case counts are continuing to increase and we would like to remind the community about the importance of getting vaccinated, encourage others to get vaccinated, wear your mask, wash your hands, social distance, limit your social gatherings, and stay home if you are sick. Help keep Allegany County residents safe and healthy.

Please call the Allegany County Department of Health at 585-268-9250 and press #4 with questions or to schedule an appointment for your COVID-19 vaccine.
