Special Guest: Nic Gunning, Candidate for County Legislature
Belmont, NY — The Allegany County Democratic Committee is pleased to welcome Nic Gunning, the Democratic candidate for Allegany County Legislature for District 1, as our special guest on Wednesday, Sept 22nd at the Fillmore Fire Department Hall, 24 S. Genesee St., Fillmore, NY. This event begins at 6:00 p.m.
After reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, brief committee business and remarks from attending candidates, attendees will enjoy a hearty BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich with two sides, homemade dessert and beverage. Gluten-free and vegetarian options may be requested in advance.
Mr. Gunning has spent his 16 years in Allegany County serving community needs and driving progress in a variety of volunteer and elected positions. He led a coalition of community members to bring events and services to the area as President of the Community Association for his hometown; ensures steady, ethical, and reliable operation of area fire departments as Commissioner for the Caneadea Fire District; contributes to the service work of the Allegany County Blind Association as a member of the board; and engages in fundraising and community service as a member of the Wellsville Rotary. He was worked in Allegany County libraries since 2006. Nic is a strong and tenacious force for growth, collaboration, and integrity and will bring his energy and skill to the County Legislature for Allegany County.
Residents of Dist. 1 (Angelica, Belfast, Caneadea, Centerville, Granger, Hume & Rushford) are invited to visit with Mr. Gunning and other attending candidates. Event proceeds will support District 1 candidates in the November election.
