The original mega yard sale event in Wellsville is back this year after the typical Covid-19 hiatus of 2020, set for NEXT weekend, September 11th and 12th. A erroneous headline in the “Allegany County Source,” indicated the event was this weekend.
Event organizer Kandy Hirsch announces some of the details:
“34th Annual Sunnydale/Proctor Area Community Garage Sales in Wellsville, NY features 8 streets of garage sales! Sales start at 9am on Saturday September 11th, rain or shine. Parking and restrooms at the Mormon Church, 100 Crescent Drive. Hotdogs, popcorn, and water will be served at the Wellsville Business And Professional Women’s booth on School Street. Please obey Police No Parking Signs.”
Sunnydale Sales are very easy to find if you aren’t from Wellsville, just follow Trapping Brook Road off Rt. 417 east, look for the yellow signs!
