Friday August 27, 2021 Wellsville Police arrested a 42 year old man from Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Trespass 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Breckenridge Avenue on August 26th. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on September 21st at 4:30 pm.
Sunday August 29, 2021 Wellsville Police arrested a man, age 38 of Wellsville, charging him with a Violation of Probation. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. He was remanded to the Allegany County Jail and will be in Wellsville Town Court on September 1st at 9:30 am.
Monday August 30, 2021 Wellsville Police arrested Schyler S. Kling, age 26 of Alma, charging him with Fleeing a Police Officer in a motor vehicle 3rd, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 7th, Reckless Driving, 2 counts of Speed in Zone, Unsafe Tire, Consumption of Alcohol in a motor vehicle, Visibility Distorted/Broken Glass, Unapproved/No Interior Mirror and No Mirror/No Left side view mirror. The charges stem from a brief vehicle pursuit that started on South Brooklyn Avenue and Pine Street in the Village, ending on Hog Brook Road in the Town of Alma. Kling was processed and released on an appearance ticket. Kling is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on September 21st at 4:30 pm. Wellsville Police were assisted by the New York State Police.

Monday August 30, 2021 Wellsville Police arrested a man, age 45 of Wellsville, charging him with Trespass. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Madison Street in the Village. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on September 21st at 4:30 pm.
Monday August 30, 2021 Wellsville Police arrested Schyler S. Kling, age 26 of Alma, charging him with Criminal Mischief 2nd (Class D Felony) and Criminal Trespass 3rd. The charges stem from an incident that took place on the Bolivar Road in the Village. Kling was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Kling was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 21st at 4:30 pm.
*Mr. Kling’s name has been published because when you get arrested for twenty different crimes in one day, its called a crime spree. It is a sham that anyone can behave that way, put officers lives at risk, and then be ROR. It is insulting to the public and the notion of criminal justice.
