WARNING!!! We have been notified that there is a dangerous Tree issue on the Genesee River between Jack Bridge Road and Trout Run Campground.

It appears that it has caused multiple 911 calls. As you are probably aware we had a flood event last week which causes new issues with debris. There is no system to remove trees and other hazards so it is up to the boaters to be on the watch for these. Be safe. For now may not want to go through this spot. Also with the recent high waters the entire river could be different than it was a few weeks ago with new hazards. Be careful.

The Town of Willing Volunteer Hose Company #1 issued this on the hazards:

Attention Kayakers using the Jack Bridge launch sight. There are multiple trees, debris and swift water on a blind corner approximately 1 mile down the WAG trail heading toward Trout Run. It is completely impassable. the water levels are still high on the river. Please use caution.
