On Sunday, the firefighters motorcycle club The Red Knights NY Chapter 42 held a meeting at The Bath Volunteer Fire Department and released the results of how the Bucket Brigade for The Wounded Warrior Project went for this year’s ride. There were 126 registered riders who participated in the approximately 100-mile ride around the Southern Tier area. The 2020 ride was cancelled due to COVID-19. A check will be written in the amount of $2,100 to The Wounded Warrior Project that was raised from registrations, 50/50 and scratch off lottery tickets that were raffled.


 The Steuben County Fair kicks off next Tuesday in Bath. The Steuben County Fair is the oldest continually running fair in the United States. Singer/songwriter Craig Morgan is next Wednesday’s featured performer. For a complete listing of all the events, visit steubencountyfair.org.

The commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police has announced that 91 cadets graduated from the State Police Academy in Hershey and have been assigned to troops across the commonwealth. The men and women represent the 161st graduating cadet class. The ceremony at the State Police Academy was held outside and included a limited amount of family members. Three of the new troopers have been assigned to the Coudersport barracks.
