Brief Meeting followed by Dinner and Candidate Meet & Greet
Belmont, NY — The Allegany County Democratic Committee is pleased to welcome Ly Kesse, the Democratic and Working Families Party candidate for Allegany County Legislature for District 5, as our special guest on Wednesday, July 14th at the Sons of the American Legion Fawcett Post 1582, 83 Main St., Canaseraga, NY. This event begins at 6:00 p.m.
After reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and a brief meeting, attendees will enjoy a BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich with two sides, homemade dessert and beverage. Gluten-free and vegetarian options may be reserved in advance. Legal beverages are available.
Ms. Kesse, a 30-year resident of Allegany County, has lived and raised a family here while working in the fields of journalism and accounting. For fifteen of those years, she has volunteered for the A. E. Crandall Hook & Ladder variously as Vice President, Treasurer, grant writer, ambulance driver, and spare hands. As a grant writer, she brought into four Allegany County fire departments half a million dollars in funding: for PPE and mostly broad-band radio. She is running for County Legislature to represent the minority party here. Learn more at her website: www.voteforly.com.
District 5 elected officials and local candidates have also been invited to attend. Residents of District 5 (Towns of Alfred, Allen, Almond, Birdsall, Burns, Grove and West Almond; Villages of Alfred, Almond and Canaseraga) are invited to meet Ms. Kesse and these candidates and officials, and to learn more about them. Proceeds from this event will support District 5 candidates in the November election.
Tickets for the dinner are $10 per person and can be reserved by:
