Robert J. “Bob” VOORHEES, Jr., 75, of Wellsville, NY, died Thursday, August 13, 2026 in Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville.
Born September 29, 1950, in Hornell, he was the son of Robert James and Evelyn Meehan Voorhees. On June 27, 1970, in Immaculate Conception Church, Wellsville, he married Linda Aldrich, who survives. He and Lyn recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.
A graduate of Immaculate Conception School and a 1968 graduate of Wellsville Central School, he served honorably with the Army National Guard from 1970 – 1980. He earned a degree in mechanical drafting from SUNY Delhi and was proud of his 42 year career at Dresser-Rand in Wellsville.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Tricia Marie Voorhees; and a sister, Michelle Voorhees. At Bob’s request, there will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust & Embser Funeral Homes & Cremation, 34 West State Street, Wellsville, NY.
