Wellsville Plumbing and HVAC pros save the day !
By Andrew Harris
It started out as a pin hole, a light mist coming from the point where the main water line enters the house. Concerning, but not an emergency.
The next day it was a hiss, and obviously something was amiss. I had one choice, that dreaded and expensive phone call to a plumber. Luckily, I’ve known the best in the business for most of my life!!
I called Tim Shea Plumbing and Heating as the mist went from hiss to a small flood. In the middle of a heat wave I was worried that house would be without running water while waiting for a service call. Wrong!
Tim sent Cody, an expert member of the team the next business day to assess the situation and fix the problem. Cody, despite working under the threat of an attack rooster, took stock of the problem and got to work.
It wasn’t an easy fix. A ninety-degree elbow just clearing the floor in a tight corner of the bathroom, on a nearly 90 degree day. Cody identified the part, ran to the supply store, and had the piece of pipe replaced in under an hour. Let’s just say between the hot summer day and the challenging work of replacing brass pipes and fittings, Cody broke a sweat !
He explained exactly what he’d done, cleaned up his mess, and was on to the next service call.
We’ve all heard of service calls that get delayed, get dragged out, or even turn into a service call nightmare. Not Tim Shea’s crew!! The job was done efficiently, Cody was understanding(and brave,) and the bill was reasonable, certainly cheaper than new flooring.
While plumbing might be Shea’s forte`, they offer a full line of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning products and services. This family-owned and operated business have been serving the Wellsville and Allegany County population for decades and have a impeccable reputation.
