A night of improv comedy is coming to Bolivar, New York. On March 27th at 7pm, the Buffalo Comedy Collective will be performing at the Bolivar-Richburg auditorium. This night of improv comedy has a sports-themed twist called ComedySportz. ComedySportz combines fast-paced, improv comedy with the competition of a sporting event, creating hysterical and memorable experiences. A referee fields suggestions from the loyal fans (that’s you!) in the crowd, calls fouls, and keeps everything moving. Loyal fans vote for their favorite teams, award points, and ultimately decide who wins!
Don’t miss the “had to be there moments,” as every match up features different players, games, and loyal fan suggestions. ComedySportz humor is suitable for kids, great grandma, and everyone in between. ComedySportz has been performed in Buffalo since 1993 and across the country since 1984.
This night of fun is sponsored by the Bolivar-Richburg High-School Student Council and is open to all. Tickets are now on sale, beginning at $6.50 for general admission. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show will begin at 7pm. The improv show will be approximately ninety minutes with an additional twenty-minute intermission.
SheBrews mobile food truck will be out front of the school from 5:30-7pm serving delicious homemade sandwiches, soups, and drinks. They will have a special March menu that includes grilled Reuben sandwiches, turkey wraps, grilled cheese and a special leprechaun matcha drink. Food options begin at $5 for grilled cheese and $10 for Rueben sandwiches.
