Bulldog Sounds, LLC Announces Acquisition and Commencement of Operations of WQRW

Wellsville native Brad Adams is an owner and lead engineer

Bulldog Sounds, LLC is pleased to announce it has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase radio station WQRW 93.5 FM from the Pembrook Pines Media Group.

In conjunction with the purchase agreement, Bulldog Sounds, LLC has officially assumed programming and commercial operations of the station via a Local Marketing Agreement (LMA) effective today, February 2, 2026.

“We are thrilled to add WQRW to our portfolio,” said Managing Member Robert Smith.

“Robert Pfuntner, owner of Pembrook Pines Media Group, has maintained a strong legacy with this station, and we look forward to building upon that foundation with fresh energy and a commitment to serving the Twin Tiers area.”

Bulldog Sounds, LLC is owned by Smith of Corning and Elmira resident Brian Adams, a Wellsville native who also serves as Chief Engineer. The team also owns Classic Hits 1063-The Mountain- WXMT of Smethport & Bradford

The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and final approval by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

*Editors note. 93.5FM was founded in 1986 as WQJZ by the late Michael T. Baldwin. Robert Pfuntner, owner of Pembroke Pines Media Group, passed away in August 2025.
