Health Department Reports Two Covid-19 Deaths

A 72-Year-Old Male is the 67th and 76 Year-Old Female is the 68th Allegany County Residents to Pass Away as a Result of COVID-19.

The Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) is sad to report to our residents and community that there have been two additional COVID-19 related deaths bringing our local total to 68. These deaths, a male age 72 and a female age 76, were due to complications or a consequence of COVID-19. We extend our deepest condolences to their families, and we ask that you respect the families’ privacy during this difficult time.

It is imperative that Allegany County residents continue to wear a mask, follow social/physical distancing protocols when possible, wash your hands often to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and GET VACCINATED. We continue to see deaths across Allegany County as a result of or a consequence of COVID-

19. We ask the public to consider getting vaccinated in order to protect our school districts, hospitals, businesses, and communities. If you have any questions about any of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact our office at the number below.
