Members, and friends, of JMH’s Lilac Twig came together to bring holiday cheer to residents at Manor Hills.

Members and friends put together 190 small gift boxes for residents to enjoy on Christmas Day.  The gift boxes were delivered on December 23rd by twig members and friends.

The Jones Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is a vital part of the Hospital family. Without their dedication, the Hospital could not do all that we do for the health of our community. But new members are needed.

The basic function of the Auxiliary is to serve the Hospital in any way needed. The Auxiliary does a lot of fundraising and many of the Auxilians are also volunteers. As volunteers, Auxilians may work in the gift shop, carry meals to patients, transport inpatients, and conduct student tours for local schoolchildren.

Auxilians “keep” the hospital gift shop

The only commitment involved in joining the Auxiliary is $5 in annual dues. How much time being a member involves is up to the individual. You can be a fulltime member and attend meetings or help work on one particular project.

In addition to new people, the Auxiliary is looking for new ideas on how to raise money for the hospital. In the past two years, the Auxiliary has donated over $100,000 to Jones Memorial, through its fundraising efforts!
