From the David A. Howe Public Library,

The David A. Howe Library is accepting entries for their 14th Annual Teen Photography Show until the end of October. The photography show, which will hang in the library’s gallery throughout the month of November, is open to all local photographers aged 12 to 18. Interested teens can stop by the library to pick up an entry form, or print one from the library’s website.

The Teen Photography Show is once again sponsored by the Wellsville Rotary Club, with a special donation from Anne Currier and George Hrycun. Last year there were over 100 entries in the show, and the library hopes to recognize many talented young photographers again this year.

The show will be judged by Brian Oglesbee, who has faithfully given his expertise to the library for over a decade, and provided excellent feedback to many photography students. Members of the community are also encouraged to vote for the “People’s Choice” award during the month of November. All the awards will be announced at a public reception on November 20, at 6 PM.

Interested photographers can contact Teen Librarian Ally Fesmire with any additional questions.
