Come to the David A Howe Library and see over 100 entries by talented young people
From the David A. Howe Library
On Thursday, November 21 at 6 PM, the David A. Howe Library and the Wellsville Rotary Club will host the awards ceremony for the 13th annual Teen Photography Show. All interested community members are invited to attend and celebrate the incredible work of our local teens.
This year’s show has one of the highest entry rates of all time, with 105 photos from teens across the county. Brian Oglesbee will once again judge the show, but community members are invited to stop by the library any day before the reception and cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. This year a special donation from Anne Currier and George Hrycun has made it possible to award the Best in Show recipient a generous gift card for a photography store, to support their further development as a photographer.
The Teen Photo Show reception will be followed by a concert in the Nancy Howe auditorium by folk duo Hungrytown, so plan to spend an evening of arts at the library!
